What is Find Public APIs?+
Find Public APIs is an independent directory of public APIs. It combines attributed community catalogs with individually researched guides and a client-side request playground.
Are all listed APIs free?+
No. Some offer free access or a limited free tier; others require payment. “No key” describes authentication, not pricing or commercial-use permission. Imported listings say “Check pricing” until reviewed.
Can I try an API without leaving the site?+
Yes, when the provider permits browser requests through CORS. Use an example from a reviewed guide or enter your own endpoint in the playground. Credentials stay in page memory and are sent directly to the selected provider.
What does “Docs reviewed” mean?+
The guide was checked against provider documentation on the stated date. It is not a guarantee of availability, a live uptime test, or an endorsement. Community listings have not been individually verified.
