Does ipify need authentication?+

The reviewed example is listed as “No key”. This endpoint reports the requester’s public IPv4 address, not their location. Server-side calls return the server’s address; IPv6 and dual-stack endpoints are documented separately.

Can I call ipify from a browser?+

Browser access depends on the provider’s CORS policy for your origin, method, and headers. The playground makes a direct request and cannot bypass those restrictions.
